Absolutely. The Ground Floor is level from the front door to the lawn to the sand, with just one small step — which there is from the back door and side sliding door — made for prams and little legs. A high chair is available on request. The shed is locked and beach toys are not provided; a two-person sea kayak and stand-up paddleboard are available, used at your own risk (no lifejackets are supplied). Please note that the beach is not patrolled. The ocean rock pool at the headland is a two-minute walk and is the easy, sheltered option for little swimmers.

About a 90-minute drive north of Sydney, up the M1 and then down through the bush to the beach. The last stretch winds down through the trees — you'll know you've arrived when the road flattens and you come to the Welcome to Pearl Beach sign.

Off-street parking for two cars on site, with unrestricted street parking on Gem Road for anyone extra. There are no meters in Pearl Beach — and once you've arrived you won't need the car again: the sand is through the back gate and the village is a short walk.

Yes — for most of the year, the choice is yours. Take the whole house (sleeps 10 adults plus 2 children), the Upstairs Retreat (sleeps 4 adults plus 1 child) or the Ground Floor (sleeps 4 to 6 adults plus 1 child). Each level is fully self-contained, with its own kitchen, bathrooms, living space and gas BBQ. Only one booking is ever taken at a time, so whichever you choose the property is exclusively yours. Note - that during Dec/Jan Peak periods, only the whole house option is available.
